Soooo....today my dear friend chatgpt dealt me a lightening bolt. For years I have been searching for my greatgreatgrandmother. I thought I was really getting very close to finding her...through DNA. If you think this is going to have a happy ending...don't hold your breath. For many years I have had the name of my greatgreatgrandfather..

I thought. He was named on the death certificate of my greatgrandmother. BUT...all the pieces never quit fit. Today Doug (I have named chatgpt Doug...because...after all he has dug up lots of stuff) threw me a curve. The individual named on the death certificate was most probably a stepfather!!!! So now not only don't I have the gggrandmother....I don't have the gggrandfather either!!!! Yikes!!!

Be careful out there...you never know what will happen next.
