The Recipe on the Other Side
For years, I made homemade bread from a recipe printed on the back of a discarded medication information sheet. I thought the recipe was thirty years old, but the paper itself helped me reconsider its history. It came from the years I taught medication administration classes in Maryland, when my grandsons were little. I had saved the paper because I hated wasting anything useful. Twenty years later, the recipe is stained, wrinkled, and still producing delicious loaves. And every time I use it, a little of those Maryland years comes back to me.
It's all about digging a little deeper to find the story to date things. Clues to find the answers.
Happy hunting!!
